ADMIRAL RENEW SPONSORSHIP OF PLANTASIA ON THE ROAD FOR 2025!

We’re delighted to announce that Admiral Group Plc has renewed their generous sponsorship of Plantasia on the Road for 2025—marking another fantastic year of partnership since 2020.

Why it matters

Since the beginning of the year, our collaboration with Admiral has allowed us to continue bringing engaging, conservation-focused outreach directly to schools, community groups, and events across South Wales. Their support means we can:

  • Keep outreach session prices low — without their backing, outreach sessions would cost significantly more, and those savings we pass on to you.
  • Fund our Golden Tickets initiative, which allows children at outreach events or zoo workshops to visit Plantasia Tropical Zoo for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult.
  • Cover essential outreach costs, such as staff travel, insurance, and animal care, ensuring sessions remain sustainable and accessible.

In 2024 alone, we distributed a huge 11,184 Golden Tickets thanks to Admiral’s support—opening the doors to the zoo for families across our community.

Say hello to our updated van!

You may have seen our Plantasia on the Road van out and about—freshly redesigned this spring thanks to Admiral’s sponsorship. Ditching its old purple look, it now sports a vibrant green wrap featuring eye-catching images of our animals. Stand out on the road? Absolutely!

Where we’ve been (and where we’re going)

Over the past few months we’ve taken the van to:

  • The It’s Your Swansea business conference at the Swansea Building Society Arena
  • Eisteddfod yr Urdd Dur a Môr—Plantasia’s first-ever appearance on the Maes at Margam Park
  • Outreach events in community centres, such as the National Autistic Society Swansea

And next up is the Wales Airshow on 5–6 July, where we’ll be on Swansea Prom showcasing our amazing animals and fun merchandise, all to help raise vital funds for the zoo.

Our bond with Admiral
