NEW for 2023:

Here’s to a wonderful 2023 for all, and you can get your year off to an incredible start with our brand new events and experiences at Plantasia Tropical Zoo.

VIP Animal Encounters:

Launching on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th January is a new way to get up close to our animals in our interactive animal handling sessions for the whole family. Available at 3pm every Saturday and Sunday onwards you can explore and enjoy the fantastical experience that Plantasia Tropical Zoo has to offer, before you meet your zookeeper for an introduction to a variety of animals that you can handle. These will be selected from a Bearded dragon, Egyptian tortoise, crested gecko, African millipede, Madagascan cockroach, corn snake and giant African land snails.

FURRY Tails from the zoo:

Starting on Thursday 26th January, our popular toddler Tails from the Zoo hour returns with a fun and creative upgrade! Furry Tails from the Zoo will alternate (almost) every other Thursday at 10:30am and tickets include…

• General Admission to the zoo – feel free to stay and explore for as long as you like after the toddler hour
• A story-telling or crafts session
• Animal handling with a zookeeper
• 20% discount valid for that day in the Canopy Café

Jungle Escape:

Coming soon – Take part every Friday (from the 3rd February onwards)  in the World’s BIGGEST 60 minute escape game with our launch of Jungle Escape at Plantasia Tropical Zoo. In partnership with The Escape Game Swansea, Jungle Escape has been developed to be one of the biggest and most unique escape experiences in the World. This social, immersive, fun experience is certainly one for the bucket list!

Canopi Gin – Strawberry Guava flavour:

Coming soon will be the second flavour in our Canopi Gin range: Strawberry Guava. Flavoured by the leaves from the Strawberry Guava tree grown here at Plantasia Tropical Zoo, and produced by local and award winning Gower Gin Company, our delicious new pink gin will be available in 5cl, 20cl and 70cl bottles – keep your eyes peeled and taste buds at the ready for its arrival in store soon!

Starting off our 2023 events calendar will be our celebration of 200 Years of Alfred Russel Wallace. Join us on Saturday 28th January as we celebrate the life of this evolutionary genius, with no additional charge on your general admission tickets.
