A Magical One-Day Event for Families | Saturday 17th January

Step into a storybook adventure this January as Princess Adventures arrives at Plantasia Tropical Zoo for one day only.

On Saturday 17th January, our indoor rainforest will be filled with music, imagination and magical moments as two much-loved fairy-tale heroines visit the jungle: The Tower Princess and The Adventure Princess – all for only £2 more per child!

Brought to life by our trusted friends at Glass Slipper Events, this special day is designed for young explorers, big dreamers, and families who love a little magic alongside their wildlife adventures.

Glass Slipper Events is a much-loved events company known for their high-quality costumes, professionally trained performers and warm, engaging storytelling. Established in December 2020, they specialise in bringing fairy-tale characters to life in a way that feels authentic, inclusive and genuinely magical for children.

We’re proud to work closely with Glass Slipper Events on our family events at Plantasia. Their performers are not only wonderful singers and storytellers, but also fantastic at creating memorable, confidence-boosting interactions with children of all ages. Parents can feel confident knowing they’re meeting experienced, fully vetted performers who truly care about creating positive, joyful experiences.

Sing Along with the Princesses 🎶

Throughout the day, the princesses will take to the treehouse balcony to perform enchanting songs at half past every hour. Children are encouraged to sing along, dance, and soak up the magic.

Meet & Greet Moments 📸

After each performance, families will have the chance to meet the princesses in person for a photo opportunity at the entrance to the treehouse — a perfect keepsake moment from a truly special day.

When it’s time for a break, head over to the Canopy Café where children can enjoy a themed colouring-in session, plus complimentary face painting by the wonderful Shanis Glitter & Paints — adding an extra sparkle to the day.

Shani’s Glitter & Paints love to bring their vibrant face painting, glitter tattoos, festival faces, and body art services to resorts and events. Their team is fully insured, vetted, and highly experienced, with their own professional paint and glitter stations.
