Festive Opening Times at Plantasia Tropical Zoo

Planning a visit over the festive period? We know Christmas and New Year can be busy, so we’ve pulled together everything you need to know about our opening days and hours in one handy place.

We’ll be open as usual in the run-up to Christmas, making Plantasia a perfect stop for a festive family day out – whatever the weather.

🎅 Before Christmas

Open daily: 10am – 5pm
Last entry at 4pm

🎄 Christmas Closure

We will be closed on:

• 24th December

• 25th December

• 26th December

🌿 Between Christmas & New Year

We reopen with our usual opening hours from:

• 27th – 30th December
  10am – 5pm (last entry at 4pm)

🎆 New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day

• 31st December (New Year’s Eve):
  Open 10am – 2:30pm
  Last entry at 1:30pm

• 1st January (New Year’s Day):
  Closed

🌱 January Opening & Annual Maintenance

• We reopen as normal from 2nd January (10am – 5pm)

• Please note: Plantasia will be closed for annual maintenance from
  7th – 9th January 2026
  This essential work helps us keep our rainforest, habitats and visitor spaces in top condition for the year ahead.

If you’re visiting during the festive period, we always recommend booking tickets online in advance, especially during wet weather.
