A Day Out for Every Mum

Make Mother’s Day extra special with a family day at the zoo! On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th March, mums go free when accompanied by a paying child (just use the promo code MAMRULES when booking online). Little ones can get creative at our card-making crafts station while adults enjoy a relaxing gin-tasting session featuring our own Canopi gin. Throughout the day, you’ll also have the chance to catch animal talks delivered by our expert zookeepers.

Hoppy Ever After – Easter Weekend Fun

Join us on Saturday 19th April for a truly magical Easter celebration. Meet Rapunzel and the Easter Bunny, enjoy live performances from the treehouse balcony, and follow our fun-filled Easter trail through the jungle. Solve clues and complete challenges for the chance to win an Easter surprise! Our Grow Your Imagination room will also be packed with Easter-themed colouring fun!

Plantasia in Bloom – A Celebration of Creativity

From Saturday 24th May to Sunday 1st June, our annual Plantasia in Bloom competition returns. Schools and community groups craft vibrant floral displays using recycled materials, transforming the zoo into a springtime showcase of colour and sustainability. During your visit, vote for your favourite display and help us crown this year’s winners!

Unforgettable Animal Experiences in Swansea

Looking for animal experiences for families in South Wales? At Plantasia Tropical Zoo, our VIP Animal Experiences are a brilliant way to enjoy hands-on encounters with our amazing creatures. Feed the meerkats, handle a friendly snake, or meet our reptiles and tortoises face-to-face!
