This October Half Term, our indoor rainforest is bursting with extra activities, animal encounters, and fun for the whole family to enjoy. Whether you’re looking for a day of discovery or a spooky-but-smiley adventure, there’s something for everyone in Swansea’s tropical jungle.

🦎 Daily VIP Zookeeper Experiences – 10am

Ever wondered what it takes to care for our amazing animals? Join our keepers for an unforgettable, behind-the-scenes experience and get hands-on with some of our most fascinating residents. Learn how we feed, clean, and care for creatures great and small – it’s the perfect treat for any budding zookeeper!

🐍 Daily VIP Animal Encounters – 3:45pm (entry from 3pm)

Meet some of our most incredible species up close! These popular afternoon sessions are a fantastic chance to discover the gentler side of animals often thought of as scary – from snakes to snails and more. Spaces are limited and must be pre-booked online, so be quick!

🕷️ Hourly Species Talks – 12pm–3pm

Join our team every hour to uncover the real stories behind our “wild not wicked” creatures. Discover the Universe theory linked to Tortoise, Southern African Tribal tales linked to Meerkats, and Aboriginal beliefs linked to Beaded Lizards and headaches!. You’ll see these amazing animals in a whole new light.

🎃 Pumpkins & Patchwork – Friday 31st October

Round off Half Term in spooky style! Jack and Sally from Glass Slipper Events will be joining us for a day packed with themed songs, trails, and fun family ‘Truth and Dare’ challenges. It’s a frightfully fun way to end your week – with plenty of laughs and just the right amount of spook!
