Join us at Plantasia Tropical Zoo for a truly enchanting day as two much-loved ice princess characters from Glass Slipper Events bring their frosty magic to the jungle.

Enjoy live singing performances from the treehouse balcony at half past every hour, where our ice princesses will fill the zoo with powerful songs and magical moments. After each performance, make your way to the treehouse doors to meet both characters in person and capture some unforgettable photos together.

Children can enter our themed competition for the chance to win a cuddly toy and a family ticket to the zoo, enjoy princess-inspired colouring-in activities, and explore everything the zoo has to offer throughout the day. There will also be  complimentary face painting by Shani’s Glitter & Paints.

Your ticket includes full access to the zoo, with over 50 amazing species to discover. Step into our brand new for 2026 Vital Venoms & Practical Poisons room and uncover the fascinating world of venomous and poisonous species, then continue your adventure through the tropical jungle.

Don’t forget your free magical photo at the Magic Memories kiosk and bring the prehistoric creatures of Giants of the Past to life using AR on your mobile device as you explore.

Dinomania returns to Plantasia Tropical Zoo to help you experience the prehistoric age like never before! Marvel at giant and baby replicas of incredible dinosaurs… and through the magic of AR, bring Plantasia’s very own Giants of the Past back to life right before your eyes. 🦕✨

• Meet a Giant Dino at quarter-to each hour!

Join us at Plantasia Tropical Zoo for a magical Halloween event where three iconic, spooky characters from Glass Slipper Events bring music, mischief and a touch of theatrical fun to the jungle.

Enjoy live singing performances from the treehouse balcony at half past every hour, filled with powerful vocals and dramatic flair. After each performance, make your way to the treehouse doors to meet all three characters and capture some wonderfully wicked photos together.

As a zoo, Halloween is also our opportunity to shine a positive light on the creatures that are often misunderstood. Throughout the day, our keepers will host engaging educational talks about species that lurk beneath, slither silently or have gained an unfair reputation. Discover why spiders, snakes and other “creepy crawlies” play an essential role in our ecosystem — and why they deserve respect rather than fear.

A celebration of ALFRED RUSSEL WALLACE:

Wallace was many things – an intrepid explorer, a brilliant naturalist, a social activist, a political commentator – overall a remarkable intellectual. In his time he collected over 125,000 animal specimens, published more than 800 articles and wrote 22 books

Plantasia Tropical Zoo’s treehouse has been transformed into a fabulous representation of Alfred Russel Wallace’s jungle research hut in the Amazon Rainforest. Featuring storyboards with fascinating tales of his life and discoveries, explorer artefacts and a dress-up area.

Access to the exhibition is included with General Admission Please be aware that access will be restricted weekdays between 10am-2pm when in use by school groups

We are honoured to work with NAS Swansea on a regular basis to deliver suitable Quiet Hour events at Plantasia Tropical Zoo.

NAS Swansea Branch is a volunteer-led charity supporting autistic people and their families in and around Swansea. They organise different events and activities for autistic people and their families / carers which are run across the area and include coffee mornings, autism courses and workshops, understanding autism talks for businesses, organisations and charities, all-year-round autism events, and much more.

InclusAbility is a community interest organisation that run a number a family day trips to wonderful places throughout the year that are inclusive of all!

We are delighted to welcome their members for special events at Plantasia Tropical Zoo.
