We are excited to announce our new events calendar for 2023, kicking-off with the Little Mermaid on Saturday 27th May. A new partnership with Glass Slipper Events Wales will bring a whole new world of magic to our tropical zoo, featuring a meet and greet with the Little Mermaid; beautiful songs; and an under-the-sea trail to follow for a chance to win a prize!

A display of flowers made from recycled plastics

Get ready to cast your vote for ‘Best in Bloom’ as our eco-competition for schools and community groups gets underway from Sunday 28th May – Sunday 4th June.

Admire the beautiful creations by local children – all made from materials that can be recycled. Take away the important message of Reduce-Reuse-Recycle and discover which items you could recycle from each room of your home.

This exhibition is included at no extra cost with your General Admission tickets for the duration of the May school holidays.
